Your Period Has a Personality 🩸✨

Have you ever thought:
“Why am I crying over a random reel?”
Then a few days later:
“I can conquer the world.”
And then:
“Why does everyone around me suddenly annoy me?” 😭
Welcome to the wonderful world of your menstrual cycle.
Your cycle isn't just about the days you bleed. Your body goes through four phases - Period, Follicular, Ovulation and Luteal - and each one can bring its own little personality.

🩸 Phase 1: Period You - “Please bring me snacks.”

Your period arrives, and suddenly your bed looks like the perfect place to spend the entire day.
You might notice light, medium or heavy flow, sometimes with blood clots. Along with that can come cramps, backache, headache, fatigue, bloating or even diarrhea.
Your mood might also be all over the place - calm one minute, irritated the next, low-energy after that.
And honestly? Sometimes your body's message is simply:
“Slow down.”

🌱 Phase 2: Follicular You - “Okay, we're back!”

Your period is over.
Your energy starts coming back.
Your mood feels lighter.
Suddenly that gym bag you ignored for five days doesn't look so offensive. 😌
As the follicular phase progresses, estrogen rises and some people notice feeling more energetic, happy, calm or motivated.
This can be your “Let's get things done” era.
Go for a walk. Dance. Hit the gym. Try yoga. Or just enjoy feeling like yourself again.

🌸 Phase 3: Ovulation You - “Wait… why do I feel GOOD?”

Around ovulation, some people notice more energy, confidence or sex drive.
You might also notice your discharge changing - perhaps becoming watery or slippery, sometimes stretchy like egg white.
Your body is basically dropping hints:
“Something's happening over here.” 👀
Just remember: discharge or other symptoms alone can't tell you exactly when you've ovulated.

🌙 Phase 4: Luteal You - “Who ate my snacks?”

And then… the plot thickens.
You may notice cravings, bloating, acne, tender breasts, fatigue or mood swings.
Maybe you're suddenly emotional.
Maybe you're hungry again five minutes after dinner.
Maybe you just want everyone to stop talking.
These changes can happen in the luteal phase, but not everyone experiences them - and they can vary from cycle to cycle.

💗 Your cycle isn't supposed to look like everyone else's

Your period doesn't have one personality.
It has YOUR personality.
That's why tracking things like flow, mood, energy, cravings, digestion, discharge and exercise can be surprisingly useful.
After a few cycles, you might start noticing:
“Ohhh… I always get acne before my period.”
“My energy is highest around here.”
“My cravings are basically a monthly event.” 😂
That's the Clora difference.
Don't just count your period days. Get to know your whole cycle. 💗
